Bedford Players is delighted to reveal an exciting line up of plays for our 34th season! For 2017-2018 we are offering a little bit of everything, from historical drama to farce comedy, all served with a twist of local charm!
In November 2017, we’ll present, from local writer and director, Karen L Waterfield, Isabella. A wonderful historical drama to coincide with the Halifax Explosion anniversary this year.
Then from Canadian playwright, Michael G Wilmot, Buying the Moose – a comedy with heart – will be staged in March 2018. Directed by Bryn Rowlands.
Wrapping up this great season will be Sex Please We’re Sixty! – a farce by Michael Parker and Susan Parker – in May/June 2018. Directed by Clair Henderson. If you’ve been attending Bedford Players for a few years you might remember other hilarious shows by Michael Parker! (Bedford Players presented No Sex Please, We’re British, by Anthony Marriott and Alistair Foot, during our 25th (2007-08) Season – so this one seemed a good choice for our 35th Season!
