\"\"Each year Bedford Players provides a $1000 scholarship to a local student pursuing or intending to pursue, theatre arts in a post-secondary institution.<\/p>\n

The 2017 scholarship was recently presented to Jacqueline Brideau of Fall River by Past\u00a0President, Clair Henderson.<\/p>\n

Jacqueline graduated from Lockview High in June 2017 and intends to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (Major in Theatre) at Acadia University. \u00a0For a number of years, Jacqueline has been involved in theatre\u00a0at church and school taking part in productions and improv groups as well as attending courses and camps at Neptune Theatre. \u00a0In addition to theatre work, Jacqueline has excelled academically\u00a0receiving academic awards and the Lieutenant Governors Award in Grade 11.<\/p>\n
