{"id":1580,"date":"2018-07-20T18:30:16","date_gmt":"2018-07-20T18:30:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bedfordplayers.ca\/?p=1580"},"modified":"2018-07-20T18:32:50","modified_gmt":"2018-07-20T18:32:50","slug":"2017-18-season-announced-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bedfordplayers.ca\/?p=1580","title":{"rendered":"2018-19 Season announced!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Bedford Players<\/b> is delighted\u00a0to reveal an exciting line up of plays for our 2018-2019<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0season! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The season opens in November with the classic Neil Simon comedy, <em><strong>Rumors<\/strong><\/em> directed by Robin Saywood.\u00a0 We know this will be a show that will bring out our audiences on chilly autumn\u00a0evenings.\u00a0 If you&#8217;re interested in being on stage for this show, watch our social media and this site for auditions coming up in August!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Then in keeping with our\u00a0commitment to\u00a0producing locally\u00a0written plays, we\u00a0will present the comedy-mystery\u00a0<em><strong>Habit of Murder<\/strong><\/em> by\u00a0Joanne\u00a0Miller.\u00a0 Ms Miller was at our recent AGM and\u00a0was enthusiastic at the\u00a0idea of\u00a0this play being produced in\u00a0our\u00a0community.\u00a0\u00a0<em>Sister Vivian Salter<\/em> is introduced in this play and\u00a0appears in\u00a0two more, watch for this Sister sleuth! Habit of Murder will\u00a0run Thursday to Saturday from February 28 to March 16.<\/p>\n<p>Our spring production of\u00a0<em><strong>Cocktails with Mimi<\/strong><\/em> by Mary Chase runs Thursday to Saturday, May 30 to June 15 and will be directed by Elaine Melanson.
