We are currently building an amazing production team for our Fall\u00a0 Production – Looking<\/strong> <\/em>by Norm Foster and directed by Sandy Mitchell.<\/p>\n

Part of that team will be an Assistant Stage Manager (ASM). <\/strong>This, like all positions with Bedford Players, is a volunteer position.<\/p>\n

We are looking for someone who is organized and has attention to detail.\u00a0 Previous experience as an assistant stage manager or stage manager is not essential.\u00a0 Experience in community theatre is an asset, but also not essential. What is essential is a willingness to be part of a great team, a positive attitude and a capacity for learning ‘on the job’.<\/p>\n

The ASM is involved from early in the rehearsal schedule through to the last performance.\u00a0 Stage management in any theatre is many-faceted and works with most of the other areas of production and many of the administrative areas as well, so it’s a great opportunity to learn about many aspects of community theatre production.\u00a0 In this production, the ASM will work closely with the Stage Manager (Amanda Willmore) and the Director (Sandy Mitchell).<\/p>\n
