These former struggling actors have evolved into self-help gurus, and basically for the money, not for the good of mankind. Their new, affluent lifestyle, however, is suddenly threatened by a dead body turning up in their study and from that point, the action does not stop &#8211; with the unexpected arrival of an eccentric policeman, their ruthless agent, and an investigative reporter. For self-help gurus, Hal and Cindy themselves are one-hundred percent incapable of following their own advice when faced with their own crisis! Bedford Players patrons love to laugh, and Norm Foster is the undisputed king of Canadian comedy. The play follows four single women \u2014 Randa, Dot, Marlafaye, and Jinx \u2014 all in their 40s to 60s. They meet by accident, collectively realize life is a bit of a dumpster fire, and decide to team up to try new things, shake up their routines, and basically reboot their lives together&#8230; it\u2019s awkward, it\u2019s messy, and it\u2019s definitely hilarious! Each character has great moments and this show is incredibly actor\u2011friendly; monologues, personality, big swings, little gems; every character gets something fun to play with.
