Bedford Players is delighted to reveal an exciting line up of plays for our 2018-2019 season!
The season opens in November with the classic Neil Simon comedy, Rumors directed by Robin Saywood. We know this will be a show that will bring out our audiences on chilly autumn evenings. If you’re interested in being on stage for this show, watch our social media and this site for auditions coming up in August!
Then in keeping with our commitment to producing locally written plays, we will present the comedy-mystery Habit of Murder by Joanne Miller. Ms Miller was at our recent AGM and was enthusiastic at the idea of this play being produced in our community. Sister Vivian Salter is introduced in this play and appears in two more, watch for this Sister sleuth! Habit of Murder will run Thursday to Saturday from February 28 to March 16.
Our spring production of Cocktails with Mimi by Mary Chase runs Thursday to Saturday, May 30 to June 15 and will be directed by Elaine Melanson. You’ve probably seen some great comedies that involve a bit of mistaken identity… if you’re a fan of comedy, and of Bedford Players, we needn’t say more – you’ll be greatly entertained! If you haven’t seen one of these comedies, then come on along in the spring to see what great funny stuff you’ve been missing!
