The Administration positions are ongoing throughout the year. They aren’t production specific for the most part, though as a show is nearing its opening and through the run of a show, these – as well as many other positions – often get busier.
Volunteer Coordinator

Volunteer Database Manager
Maintains volunteer management database. Generates reports for producer and/or leads as required.
Time commitment: Varies. After a production there may be new volunteer information to enter into the database and occasionally, other data will need to be added or updated.
Theatre Facility Manager
Since Bedford Players Theatre is co-located in a church hall, facility management is very specific to the needs of the theatre and not the overall building. The person filling this position will have a good knowledge of the needs of the theatre. They will assist in making the most efficient and effective use of the space allocated to the theatre.
Ticketing Liaison
This position will usually be filled by the Treasurer. The Ticketing Liaison is the main communication link with the ticketing agency.
Charity Coordinator
Bedford Players is proud to support other organizations in our community. We do this in a variety of ways including inviting groups to our preview night, providing tickets to groups as a fund raiser, accommodating a major charity for each show for which we donate $1 per ticket sold. The Charity Coordinator coordinates these efforts for each production.
Archivist
With over 30 years of history, Bedford Players has collected some nice historical information on the group. The archivist maintains that information and collects new information with each production and season.
Communications Director
Assists with and advises on ways to ensure effective internal and external communication. Oversees social media, newsletter, website and other communications. Does not necessarily include Advertising and Public Relations for specific shows, though would certainly be expected to support those efforts.
Time commitment: As required during the year
Website Administrator
