December Play Read

On Wednesday, December 3rd at 7pm, we invite you to participate in a dramatic group reading of:

The Time Machine – a play by Michael D Fox
It begins with a strange package and a box full of clues. It leads to the impossible: The Time Machine.
Cue a race through history, where every leap in time brings new mysteries, dubious friendships, and lost love. Is it all an illusion, or is it the discovery of a lifetime?
Join the Bedford Players in discovering this fresh, electrifying reimagining of H.G. Wells’s classic tale at our monthly play read.

What’s a play read?
A play read is a casual, no-pressure evening where we come together as a group to read through a play. You’ll have the opportunity to take on a character (or characters) throughout the evening. Or, just sit back and listen if that’s more your thing.
It’s not an audition. It’s not a performance. It’s just a fun evening spent together.

Why do we do play reads?
Bedford Players is always on the lookout for new shows to put on stage. Rather than simply having a small group of us read plays alone at home, we invite the community to come together so we can play with the script and bring it to life as we decide if it’s the right fit for our theatre.

Who can come read?
Everyone! You! We hope to see you there.

Great, I’ll be there. Where is it?
In the downstairs lounge of our theatre at 1408 Bedford Highway.

See you Wednesday, December 3, at 7pm!
