Comedy! Romance! A fast-paced day all served up in a crazy little café!
Linda has a blind date, Bob is casting a movie, the waitress likes the monk, old Mr. Philips wants a seance, and the bride’s dad is livid! Throw in a frantic bride, her theatrical mother, a dancing nun, and an apologetic groom, and you have a comedic hit! And it all happens one crazy day at the Love Café!
THIS IS NOT AN AUDITION OR PERFORMANCE!
Our play reads are casual, fun, no-pressure evenings where we come together as a group to read a play script out loud.
No acting experience required!
You have the choice to take on a character (or characters) throughout the evening, or just sit back and listen to others, if you prefer.
(PS: Attending a play read is a great way to meet some Bedford Players folks and see what we’re all about!)
