Don’t Dress for Dinner

DDFDby Marc Camoletti and Robin Hawdon

Hurtling along at the speed of light, Marc Camoletti’s breathtaking farce is a near faultless piece of theatrical invention. Within seconds we are drawn into a delicious web of marital treachery which accelerates with classic symmetry to an all star denouement . When all the ingredients are mixed together we have the perfect recipe for an evening of hilarious confusion as Bernard and Robert improvise at breakneck speed.

Don’t miss this World Premier by a Local Writer!

Every day at Newcombe’s Pub, nestled on the shores of the Northumberland Strait, is pretty much the same as the day before; and the regulars like it that way. Certainly it is a comfort to Matthew; until Elizabeth arrives in the neighbourhood, that is, and decides to try out the local establishment. Elizabeth has an unsettling impact on the Nova Scotia man, but then so does his ex, Sylvie. The Pub staff are no help at all, and it seems the resident gambler, Samuel, has also caught the attention of the newcomer. It’s not surprising that Matthew doesn’t know which way to turn as Elizabeth’s year-long visit unfolds.

The Fork on the Left runs on selected dates from March 12th to 28th, 2015.
