Auditions will be held at 7:00 pm (sharp) on August 13 & 14 (Sunday and Monday) at Bedford Players Theatre (upper-level parking lot at All Saints Anglican Church) 1408 Bedford Highway.
About the play:
A single personal ad inadvertently draws four middle-aged singles together when Val and Andy arrange to meet on a blind date, dragging Nina and Matt along for moral support. High romance and contagious laughter are the result.

Notes for auditioners:

- Rehearsals 3 times a week, Sunday, Monday, Thursday beginning August 24 and continuing through to preview on Nov 1 (Wednesday). Rehearsal time to be negotiated with cast
- 11 performances, excluding preview Thu-Sun, November 2-18
- Auditions will be a table read format using different parts from the script; a prepared piece is not required. Character outlines and excerpts from the script will be provided.
Characters – all middle-aged (40+++):

- VAL – OR Nurse, very keen to be in a new, steady, relationship again
- NINA -police officer, Val’s best friend and not in the least bit interested in any serious relationships
- ANDY – the owner of a storage business. Desperate to meet the new ‘love of his life’
- MATT – Andy’d long time friend, is the host of an early morning radio show and quite content with his single life

- NOTE: There is also the opportunity for five non-speaking roles of any age for three bar scenes. No auditioning required and minimal rehearsal time.
